WHY WE NEED THIS DATA AND WHAT DO WE DO WITH IT?
When you submit an enquiry, we may ask for your name, address and e-mail address so we can administer the request and reply to you. We also monitor customer traffic patterns and site usage to help us develop the design and layout of the site. We may also use the information we collect to occasionally notify you about important functionality changes to the site, new products, services and special offers we think you’ll find valuable. We do not store credit card details, nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.

Dale Rhodes Tailors & Shirtmakers are responsible for your transactions on the website and all transactions are processed via secure payment pages. Our security procedures mean that we may occasionally request proof of identity before we are able to disclose sensitive information to you.

We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others.

GDPR (The General Data Protection Regulation) is purely to do with how we manage data and protect personal data we hold without impacting on any business relationship we have with our customers.
Personal data is any information relating to an individual (data subject) that is not already in the public domain that can directly or indirectly identify a person such as a name, address and email address.
The personal data we will collect will only be the information we deem to be required for legitimate business reasons and are needed to fulfil an order and deliver it to you. By way of making contact with us from the onset of setting up an account and placing an order, we will deem this as consent to hold the information that you give to us either via the website, over the phone, in person or by email. We will not divulge any data to anyone other than our chosen couriers
Invoices and statements sent out will be printed using limited data to ensure that the invoice/statement is received by yourself to conclude the order being processed. At the time of placing the order and passing on your details, you are giving consent for this information to be printed.
Customers who chose to get in touch with us to pay by credit/debit card consent to giving us that information for one transaction only on the day in which the information is passed. Once the details have been utilised the information will be disposed of immediately. Card details will never be retained.
Any personal data will be retained by ourselves on our secure server for as long as we have a business relationship or for up to 6 years once our business relationship has come to an end and no orders have been placed.
At any time throughout our business relationship any individual and business has the following rights:
- Right of access – you have the right to request a copy of the information we hold about you
- Right of rectification – you have a right to correct data that we hold about you that is inaccurate or incomplete
- Right to be forgotten – in certain circumstances you have the right to ask for the data we hold about you to be erased from our records
- Right to object – you have the right to object to marketing from us i.e. newsletter
